The book, why we age written by David Sinclair, tells stories with strong academic grounds which is based on the author's research experience. I was surprised that almost half of this book is composed with index and rererence. The author's meticulous writting skill which are probably coming from his academic habit as a phD researcher, is respectful. Meanwhile the takeaways of this book are comparably poor. Most chapter lists vague genetics and bioscience information and filled with episodes related with his colleagues working in the same field. I couldnt shake thoughts that this is extremely boring because of endless reputation. Conclusion is all about typical cliche that we heard and saw in media. I was disappointed.

Yet the book left me questions. Lets assume we can live longer and healthy. Will we become happier? What should we do? People commonly find their stability and happiness from their job and asset. We regard that socially accepted workable age in private market is near mid 50 in korea. If we can live near 100, half of our life would be in inoccupation. Our wage cannot support the rest of our life even with a simple calculation. We must find something else from now on, else we may have high change of financial issues. We should be a producer.
