This book Principle tell about two type of principles, life and work. Lists of each contents are kindly sorted.
I got feelings that the author just wrote common sense in the society. For example, "Pain plus reflection equals progress", "
avoid the temptations". He also gathered common insights such as "life gives you so many decisions to make and so many opportunities to recover from your mistakes".
Some parts in work principle even seem like building a castle in the air. Most of chapters are having something commonly accepted ideas but lack of practical processes or methods. If I look at the sentence "For any group or organization to function well, its work principles must be aligned with its members’ life principles", this do not mention furthermore so how I deal with the boss who assigns me tasks which is not aligned with my own work principle.
Meanwhile, there are some parts which I only think randomly but not keeping in mind.
1. Habit changes subconscious
2. Be open mind at critics. It will eventually bring mental pain but overcome with meditation.
I started to have daily meditation time with meditation apps. There were many angry moment in the work place. I will apply short length meditation in my worklife.
